Dear Natural Healing House Friends,
High cholesterol won’t kill you unless it is oxidized. Recent medical research reveals that contrary to popular opinion, heart disease is not a disease of cholesterol but instead a result of low-grade chronic inflammation of the arteries. In fact, most people who suffer a heart attack actually have normal cholesterol levels. LDL cholesterol only becomes “bad” once it has been modified or oxidized by excessive free radicals. This means that if you have enough antioxidants in your body to neutralize all of the free radicals you are exposed to through diet and environmental toxins, your LDL cholesterol is really not bad. Keep in mind that cholesterol is a primary component of many important hormones.
However, It is still a good idea to maintain your LDL cholesterol at reasonable levels.
For antioxidant protection, we recommend a healthy, low-fat diet, with plenty of fruits and vegetables along with the ESSENTIALS -- a potent and full-spectrum antioxidant of the purest manufacturing grade and PROFLAVANOL90 for additional proanthocyanidin antioxidant protection.
