A poor diet, exposure to environmental toxins, stress and negative thoughts put us outside Nature's Cycle. Over time, toxins begin to accumulate and disrupt the harmony of our bio-ecology. If our intake of toxins exceeds the liver's ability to eliminate them, eventually the toxins will back up and be deposited in our tissues, joints, and skin. Our ability to eliminate these toxins determines the status of our physical health.
All the stuff that we ingest that is not good for us has to be broken down and eliminated. It is the job of the liver to break down all these unwanted, unneeded, and even dangerous substances into smaller chemical/molecular units and excrete them through the colon.
If our blood and tissues are constantly in a dangerously acidic condition, the gallbladder runs low on alkaline minerals and the pancreatic enzymes become deactivated. In this case, our entire digestive process becomes compromised and we begin to suffer from malabsorption of essential vitamins, minerals and other nutrients. Without adequate nutrients and important vitamins, other metabolic processes become impaired and toxins begin to build up. This leads to physical problems as well as depression, anxiety, worry, grief and general feelings of unhappiness that cause us to fall out of sync with our inner and outer connection. Our communication systems break down.
