Sources of Acetaldehyde
Acetaldehyde can be found in various natural sources, including:
- Fruits: Apples, grapes, oranges, and berries such as raspberries and strawberries.
- Vegetables: Broccoli and onions.
- Other Foods: Cheese, coffee, and certain fruit juices.
Additionally, acetaldehyde is present in essential oils like peppermint and anise, and it is a byproduct in some food processing and fermentation.
Acetaldehyde may temporary relief of symptoms caused by sensitivity to perfumes, flavors, dyes, plastics, alcohol or foods including sneezing and headaches.
