Norepinephrine is the catecholamine precursor to adrenalin and is a natural component of all mammalian life forms. Additionally, it is found as a component of several foods where enzymatic browning takes place. Of interest is its concentration in such foods as bananas. In bananas it reaches 5.8 ug/g.
